Their diverse menu tantalizes the palate with standout items like the creamy and vibrant Avocado Toast generously topped with garlic, olive oil, nori, and za’atar, creating a savory bite that's fresh and deeply satisfying. Bakery aficionados rave about the Chocolate Cardamom Knot and the delicate Black Sesame Brioche, where the interplay of spices and richness melts in your mouth. For those craving something heartier, the Egg Salad Sandwich offers a beautifully balanced, creamy texture layered between impeccably fresh bread. Another must-try is the Melonpan Sandwich, a playful take on traditional Japanese melonpan that surprises with its contrasting flavors and perfect sweetness.
Breakfast and brunch lovers find a true haven here, with crave-worthy options like the Fried Egg Sandwich served on an irresistible Hawaiian bun—which customers like Alex Nguyen have customized with savory sausage and bacon additions, making it a personalized indulgence. The Saint Cheeseburger is another crowd-pleaser, boasting juicy Painted Hills beef and a secret Saint sauce that Judy Huang fondly describes as "every bite was satisfying."
Beverage offerings complement the food menu impressively. Coffee enthusiasts will appreciate the Proud Mary beans from Portland, delivering rich, well-crafted lattes and robust espressos. The intriguing Matcha Latte and delicate London Fog provide aromatic and flavorful alternatives, while unique concoctions like the Alpenglow Mocktail bring an unexpected burst of refreshment. Customers like MAXIM PAK have praised their coffee quality and the matcha's comforting warmth, perfect for sipping in the semioutdoor seating area.
The café’s ambiance enhances the culinary experience spectacularly. With ample outdoor seating warmed by heaters, Saint Bread captures a relaxed yet vibrant vibe that invites guests to linger—whether soaking in views of Puget Sound, as 新星 noted, or enjoying a peaceful respite after a walk from the University of Washington, as Judy Huang appreciates. The semioutdoor seating blends fresh air with coziness, making it an ideal spot for casual gatherings or solo reflections.
Saint Bread’s penchant for quality and innovation is reflected not only in its meticulously crafted food but also in the welcoming and attentive service that accompanies every visit. Long weekend lines speak to its popularity, but regulars agree the wait is more than worth it for the mouthwatering baked goods, like the danish MAXIM PAK described as "to die for," and the rich, flavorful sandwiches and snacks that feed both body and soul.
Whether you’re stopping by for a flaky Butter Croissant, craving the sweet and complex flavors of a Chocolate Chip Cookie, or seeking a wholesome Grain Bowl to power your day, Saint Bread delivers with heart, creativity, and authenticity. It’s more than a bakery café—it's a local sanctuary where food delights the senses and every visit feels like a warm, flavorful embrace.
A nice spot to relax after walking from UW. I ordered the cheeseburger with a fried egg. The meat was juicy and every bite was satisfying. The staff were friendly and the service was great. Semi-outdoor seating adds to the chill vibe.
Beautiful location, right next to the puget sound with a great view. Tried their gochujang snickerdoodle cookie and mocha, which were both delicious. There is outdoor seating with heaters
So good!!! Amazing bakery and great location with outdoor seating. Expect long lines on the weekends but so worth it, their coffee is Proud Mary, an amazing roaster from Portland. Recommend the avocado toast and melonpans
What a wonderful spot to grab a breakfast sandwich and many other tasty items. Lovely outdoor seating and ordering is very convenient and fast. My favorite was the fried egg sandwich which I had to replace the bun and add sausage/bacon for. I ordered their animal style fries, which were pretty good but I would say it’s a serving size for at least 3 to 4 people. I’d give the breakfast sandwich, a five out of five and fries a four out of five.
Mind blowing baked goods (danish was to die for), good sandwiches (we had a Fried Egg sandwich with extra sausage and mushrooms, and it was good but not great - lacked flavor and sauce, buns were awesome though). Coffee (latte on almond milk) was good (they use Proud Mary beans) - 8/10, matcha was good too 7/10. Lots of seating available. Line is a bit long but moves fast.
So yummy! I had their avocado toast with a fried egg added, a cardamom bun and black coffee. The bread for the avocado toast was very thick and a very nice grainy, nutty flavor to it. The lemon and za’atar seasoning on the avocado added the perfect flavor to it. The cardamom bun was so yummy, this is great if you want something a little sweet but not too sweet. The coffee was perfect- I typically only add cream and sugar to coffee if the flavor is mediocre, but this coffee was already so good that I didn’t need to add anything to it. I definitely want to come back and try more things on their menu.
We’ve been wanting to come for a while, so impressed with the quality, vibe, and service considering the place. It’s in an old, I assume, boat house. Two outdoor areas to eat, one with water view. Looks like behind they have an event space too. I had their signature brown sugar toast and a pastry. Both delicious. Highly recommend but get there early, it does sell out and the lines can be long. Pet and kid friendly .
This place practically has a cult following. The only time there isn’t a line out the door is when they are closed! The menu is globally inspired- definitely with an Asian lean. I had the breakfast sandwich on melon pan with bacon. The extras kind of add up, but… it was delicious. I’m glad to see they have expanded their gluten free offerings. When I went there years ago, there wasn’t much my gf mother could have.
